Hello, World
The first post on Arbad.one. Why I'm writing, what to expect, and what this space is about.
There’s something about starting a blog that feels both overdue and terrifying. Overdue because I’ve been writing privately for years, in journals, in notes apps, in late-night voice memos that I’d listen to the next morning trying to remember what I was so fired up about. And terrifying because putting those thoughts out here makes them real, makes them yours to read.
But here we are.
Why write?
I’ve always believed that thinking and writing are inseparable. The act of writing forces you to confront the vagueness in your ideas, to turn “I feel like this is true” into something you can actually defend or discard. It’s a form of thinking that you can’t shortcut.
“Writing is thinking. To write well is to think clearly. That’s why it’s so hard.” — David McCullough
What to expect
This blog will be a space for:
- Technology: the things I’m building, the tools I’m using, the ideas I’m exploring in AI and beyond
- Life: the messy, nonlinear reality of building companies, making decisions, and figuring things out
- Ideas: philosophy, theology, psychology, and the big questions that keep me up at night
- Reflections: what I’ve learned, what I’ve gotten wrong, and what I’m still working through
There’s no editorial calendar. No content strategy. Just honest writing when I have something worth saying.
The name
Arbad.one. It’s my name, and it’s a domain. Sometimes things don’t need to be more complicated than that.
Let’s see where this goes.
Thanks for reading. If something resonates, reach out.
